Unannounced Dell Laptops Spotted on Company Website, Expected to Be New XPS 15 and XPS 17 Models

Dell's refreshed the XPS 15 and XPS 17 rumors that have been in the news for a while, now it is speculated that the company may have accidentally published an image showing the new XPS laptops. According to a Reddit user, four mysterious laptops were seen on Dell's Precision Laptops page (now taken down) while two didn't appear as old Precision laptops. It is believed that Dell may have introduced an updated version of the XPS 15 and XPS 17 while the other two are being announced as new Precision laptops. The last laptop Dell added to the XPS series is the XPS 13 introduced in January 2020.


In a photo originally shared by Reddit user WesolyKubeczek but later by other users, we can note four Dell laptops installed in two rows and columns. While the top left and right laptops seem to refresh the new XPS 15 and XPS 17, respectively, the laptops below are likely the next generation of Dell Precision laptops.

The refreshing XPS 15 and XPS 17 image keep the keyboard out of the tissue, as can be seen in older versions of the XPS 15 and XPS 13. However, the speakers on the XPS 15 and XPS 17 are located next to the keyboard unlike the old XPS. laptops where speakers were on the floor. Most importantly, the screen chin of the XPS laptops as seen in the photo shared by Reddit users is almost non-existent. The trackpad on both laptops looks great.

In addition, the other hardware features seen in the XPS 15 image and rumors of the 17th and XPS 17 are four USB Type C ports, an SD card slot, and a headphone port.

Earlier, several reports had stated that the new XPS laptops would be called the XPS 15-9500 and XPS 17-9700. At the moment, Dell has not confirmed the launch of the new XPS laptops and more details from the company are expected in the coming weeks.

In addition, the other two laptops seen in the photo are believed to be new Precision laptops. A Reddit user also revealed that the screen size of the two laptops looks like 15-inches and 17-inches due to the large keyboard.

Remembering, Dell in 2019 introduced XPS 13-7390 and Dell XPS 15-7590 in India to start at Rs. 1,13,990 and Rs. 1,66,990, respectively. The company also launched the new XPS 13-9300 in early January in selected countries.
